Building framework to power the next chapter of Cars24

Building framework to power the next chapter of Cars24

Cars24’s product journeys (Challan, VHR, New/Used Car PDI and Sell) were built in silos, leading to inconsistent UI, unclear value propositions, and 40–60% drop-offs across key steps.

I led the effort to unify these fragmented flows into one scalable system redesigning landing pages, location, slots, and cart with a consistent structure, clearer messaging, and reusable components.

The result was a trust-led, predictable VAS experience that reduced friction, improved conversions, and gave Cars24 a framework that works across all current and future services.

My role

The problem

I owned the redesign of landing pages, location flow, slot selection, and checkout across Cars24’s VAS products. Working with a team of 3 designers and collaborating closely with product and engineering teams from multiple business lines, I helped unify four previously fragmented VAS journeys into one scalable, system-driven framework that improved consistency, reduced friction, and strengthened overall conversion.

Landing Page

• Unclear value proposition → users didn’t understand what they were paying for

• Weak trust signals and inconsistent layouts → low intent

• Result: ~50-60% drop-off

Landing Page

• Unclear value proposition → users didn’t understand what they were paying for

• Weak trust signals and inconsistent layouts → low intent

• Result: ~50-60% drop-off

Solution

We built a unified VAS system consistent metadata, structured content, standardised inputs, predictable slot & location flows, and a new trust-focused cart. Everything modular, everything scalable.
